How often are you encountering that? Is it only on pictures you've posted or otherwise? It's certainly possible that some comments are deleted after being posted, in which case you'd get a notification but find nothing there when you went to look.

What's wrong with you guys?
I wrote six months ago that your site does not show previews of vertical videos (1080x1920), this is still not fixed.

Hello Hold, thank you for your query. I have just checked and confirm to you that a similar development task is already listed for the planned production of animated video thumbnails.

Currently, when viewing a video post's thumbnail in the gallery irrespective of the video orientation, we indeed only see a still image with a video play button icon to denote a video post. 

Implementation will be a short sequence of the video playing on a loop as the user hovers over a given thumbnail with their cursor.

The development team appears tasked with other upcoming optimizations and needed fixes that need implementation beforehand which have a direct correlation and impact on what you are asking about.

So we ask for your continued patience and thank you again for your understanding in this matter.

I know it's happened on this thread. I've had users DM me to let me know they saw that I tried to reply, but could not see the reply.

Also, my text posts are not showing up in other users' timelines. Not sure if that's by design.

Hi, this happened the last three times I commented on a post by Katie3dx. I don't see what they answered to other people's comments either (although I'm sure they did answer something to everybody, since they are nice:)

Weirdly enough, when I wrote another comment, where I asked people whether their answers also didn't display, the answer to that displayed just fine:)

Hi there, it has been happening to me too lately a few times this error about notifications with reply but see no reply. Just right now I had 2 notifications, one I could see but the other couldn't. 

Not happy with the new captcha put in place, there are plenty of good methods to avoid bots without allowing Google to track everyones log-in.

I am very frustrated because of technical problems with this Slushe site.

1. I logged in and get that captcha thing. That's annoying.

2. I then see there is a message for me. I opened it, and I want to reply. Then it says: you must be logged in to message this user. But I was already logged in! So I log in AGAIN and wanted to reply that message. AGAIN: you must be logged in to reply this user. THEN AGAIN the captcha annoyance. Logged in AGAIN, I typed my reply, click on sed. AGAIN it says 'you must be logged in etc." But was ALREADY logged in!

3. Desperatedly, I typed my message in the COMMENT of a post of a user. When I want to SEND, suddenly page went blank, it reads:

Slushe unexpectedly closed the connection.

Why? AGAIN LOGGIN IN. Typed AGAIN in the COMMENT section what should be in the Private Message section, but the Message thing DOESN'T function.  Sorry, I'm frustrated. I will now first copypaste this typing, in case it doesn't show as a forum post.

ALSO, a reply in a comment sometimes doesn't show at all.

So this is the technical problem I face now since today on this site: for every switch from a page to another page, like switching from my own profile page to forum or to most recent etc, the status of being already LOGGED IN change suddenly into NOT logged in. So, I then switched from profile page to an artists page, want to comment on his post, it says: You must be logged in to comment" So I have to LOIG IN AGAIN. This is very frustrating and annoying and eventually not doable, if one has to log in every switch step from changing page.

A LOG IN should last an entire session, until one desires to log out. Not that Slushe or Google logged you out while you didn't log out while you are logged in.

Also have you tried clearing your cache and restarting (not turning off and back on again) your computer?

Lastly have you ticked remember me on the login page?

Likely missed it, but we need a way to filter out content, I thought that blocking a user would stop showing their stuff, but it doesn't, and lately, as the website is getting more popular, there's a lot of..."interesting" fetishes showing up in the art feed. Maybe an extra button that let's you hide someone's content ? that would be nice to have, cheers.

if you click your name, on your browser window and click edit profile,

Then click Categories, and you will see all the catagories available, just click the categories you want to see,

and take the tick out of the one you don't want to see.

That would be a nice feature, I support that 100%.

Btw any news on what is causing notifications not showing up?
