"The Dismemberment Box"
A Blender project I've worked on, off and on, for quite some time. Ugh, it's way behind schedule but I am very close to finishing it. The mesh is more complex than what is shown here (more to it, than what's shown here).
I have more of this unusual illusion-themed fantasy magic prop posted on DeviantArt, as well as some older concepts and visualizations. Right now I am busy with reorganizing the objects into the new Collections system for Blender 2.80. It was built with Blender 2.7x, esp. 2.79, and it's kind of a chore moving everything into new collections. In any case I hope to get it done and start rendering scenes with it by the end of the month. It's the complicated object I've built in Blender.
I also wanted to switch to a G8F character. I had been using an older G3F female character, as shown in this image. I tried converting the character to G8F but it didn't work well, so I had create a new character from scratch, which was a little tedious, to get it to fit correctly inside the box. Last thing I wanted to do is redesign it after all this effort.
Also, since then I've added detail to the box, including wrist & ankle cuffs.
