30 years after Lilith subjugated the monks of Avalon...................

One afternoon while King Arthur was hunting in the forest of Brocéliande, he ran into a monk who was apparently running away from someone or something. Arthur didn't know him but recognized his clothing as those worn by the monks of Avalon. The monk told King Arthur that he was running away from a cult that seeks misuse the power of the grimoire and begged him to keep the book safe. Before the monk ran off he told Arthur that the book was enchanted and that only the blood of the chosen one can unlock it. Left with a strange book in his possession, Arthur thought he'd ask Merlin to take a look when he comes back from the mountains.
