Space Pirate Jesse Valentine

Jesse Valentine - Space Pirate, Interstellar Criminal, and Sultry Babe. Known aliases include "The Barracuda", "The Dread Queen of The Fringe", "The Gator", and "The Bitch with the Teeth". Wanted in multiple galactic states and communities for crimes including piracy, theft, smuggling, handling of stolen goods, destruction of property, grievous bodily harm, murder, kidnapping, sexual assault, and blasphemy.

The result of illegal "post-human" genetic experimentation that combined human DNA with that of several alien species in an attempt to jumpstart the next phase of human evolution, Jesse Valentine exhibits a number of borderline "superhuman" abilities and attributes, including enhanced speed, strength, and healing. Combined with her superb marksmanship and proficiency in close-quarters melee combat, this makes Valentine a deadly adversary. Her hybrid DNA brings with it some drawbacks and biological quirks however; her incredibly high metabolism means she must eat and sleep much more than the normal human, and an imbalanced body temperature means she is known to overheat and become exhausted after approximately 5 - 10 minutes of strenuous physical exertion. Other peculiar quirks include her gold-yellow irises and sharpened and strengthened teeth, which give her a predatory appearance that only adds to her infamy. She has been recorded on at least two occasions of literally biting chunks out of opponents.

Noted characteristics and identifiable features include her preference for females as sexual partners and general promiscuity. She is typically seen wearing a jacket made from the skin and dorsal spikes of a predatory creature she killed while marooned an uninhabited moon. Her most distinctive feature is her missing left ocular organ, which was (forcibly) removed to pay off part of a debt owed to a powerful figure in the criminal underworld; rumours abound that said figure keeps the eye on his desk as a trophy and ever-present reminder to others of what happens when they fail to pay their debts.

Something I love trying to do is recreate cool or unique characters in 3D. Daz offers a lot of flexibility and customisation, but there's only so much you can do; sometimes you have to think outside the box to recreate something resembling the source material. I find it makes for good practice learning some features of Daz you might not otherwise play with, and you end up with a fantastic character at the end! I'd seen some artwork of Jesse Valentine floating around and I loved her character design (made by the very talented Sad Gravy), so it was quite a pleasant surprise to be asked by her creator, Hawk, if I could recreate her in 3D! (To be clear; she's Hawk's OC, and Sad Gravy created her original design on commission from Hawk).
