The Twelve Venoms - Isodrin

Aug 31, 2019

Though the Twelve Venoms are devils in the service of Lithia of Lesbos, they are not strictly sex machines.  They are not hermaphrodites, though they do have shapeshifting powers that allow them to duplicate the abilities of a True Hermaphrodite.  Each has her own special place in Lithia’s service, and her own powers and aspects.  All are immune to poison, but are also poisonous themselves in one way or another.  More importantly, they have poisoned souls, tainted with hatred; vindictive and eternal.

Many were already there at the end of the War in Hell, prisoners, slaves and lackeys treated like dirt for millennia by the previous Lords of Hell.  Now, they were free and fighting against their oppressors.  Their mistreatment, though certain forces of the so-called "light" might say that treatment was well deserved, drove them further into a madness of rage and hatred.  That fire, not just the Hellfire they all possessed, but the burning yearning for revenge was exactly what Lithia needed.  So, many Allura and Baatezar immediately joined Herm cause.  Others came later as assorted mercenaries and planar travelers that had been caught up in the War came to investigate the New Lords and New Gods of Hell.

Isodrin

Planar, Devil: Allura female Lvl 8/5 Planar/Black Witch

Alignment: LE

Poison Ability: Her aura causes plant life to wither and die at her passing.

Isodrin was one of the first Allura to join Lithia's cause.  Previously a Hellish Witch locked into the service of the disgusting and corpulent Baalzebub, she was overjoyed to be free of his stench, and more so, free to chose her own destiny.  She was also the one who initially gave Lithia the idea of forming a band of poisonous women to serve Her ultimate goals.  For Isodrin, as her name indicated, was filled with a poison so toxic that her mere passing would kill plants and small animals.  Her mind was set on destroying the natural world and bringing forth an age of technology and cleanliness hitherto unknown.  As such, she had supported, over the millennia, the formation of the Purple Party in various realities.

The Purple Party was the polar opposite of the Green Party.  Its ideology was simple; progress, true progress in everything, all the time, with no limits.  In some of the worlds where the idea was planted, the backwards thinking ideas of environmentalism and conservation had been eradicated.  The people had experience growth and wealth like they'd never seen before.  They soon left their worlds and traveled out into the stars.  Their technology, health and quality of life soared.  All they had to do was accept that clinging on to protecting nature and seeing themselves as villains in its demise was idiotic.  They were the only life in their world that mattered.  And so they built faster and more powerful machines.  They tapped resources and developed new sources of energy fearlessly.  And they soon left their old and outgrown cradle to find a place in the stars.

To Isodrin's way of thinking, anything less than pushing for everything, all the time, was moronic and an indication of a failed mental state amongst a species.  That species needed to be wiped out before its delusional attitude infected the useful species in the multiverse, or its inferior genetics were allowed to spread.  Of course such species are always useful as slave labor, if they can be properly isolated from the useful species.  But the chance of cross contamination is usually too great.  Even reducing them to proteins for consumption by the populace might allow their bad genetic material to combine with the superior species.  Better to just wipe them out entirely.
