Hi!

Today I finally went to the doctor to get my eye checked. Quarantine is just getting extended and it's been more than a month and still with the eye issue, so I decided it was better to risk going than losing an eye. Good news and bad news.

Bad news, it's chronic conjunctivitis. Apparently I never got cured of the eye thing I got before this one, it just didn't bother me enough to notice it. According to the doctor, those of us who have used contact lenses for a looong time (20+ years in my case) have reduced eye sensitivity so we don't really notice minor things, making it harder to notice these things before they get worse. Now, since I have been dealing with this for a long time already, I'm getting a 15 days treatment to make sure it gets better.

Good news, it isn't related to eye fatigue, too much screen or something like that, so as soon as this is over I should be able to finally resume work on my stuff.

And that's about it. I'm really sorry for not being around ...

Hey, I hope you all are doing well with all the craziness going around. I'm sorry I haven't been very active, but an eye is bothering me and the issue has lasted way longer than I expected. At this point I don't think it's conjunctivis and I feel it's more related to eye fatigue which is why I have stayed away from big screens as much as I could. Still, resting my eye as much as I wanted hasn't been possible due to the whole COVID19 issue, needing to watch the news, keep in touch with family and friends, hunting toilet paper and food, and so on. And for that same reason I haven't gone to a doctor to get my eye checked. I will if I feel there is something definitely worse than fatigue but I don't feel like risking it right now.

Anyway, I think it's getting a bit better, which is why I felt I should at least give some signs of life and I hope I'll be resuming my works soon, which I'm really itching to do. I think it's the TV I'm using as a monitor what's screwing with my eye so I think I'll ...
