0036 Naked Adventure

“I am so sorry for my mom, step-mom that is,” Stephanie says. “She is being a total crazy bitch today.”

“Is she always like that?” Twilight says. “I mean, was she always like that?”

“God no!” Stephanie says. “I mean, you know, there was a time she was, you know, like me. Cool and everything. If you know, not like me but like me.”

“I get it, it is okay. No problem being who you are,” Twilight smiles. “You two are always the silly ones in the Society.”

“Yeah silly is a good way of putting it,” Stephanie says. “I kind of like not taking things too seriously. Not really thinking much about things, and you know, they like work out for me. Mom used to be like that. Just like, you know, she didn’t think about things, giggle some, laugh, live life, and be cute.”

Stephanie sighs after a pause. “She used to be cool.”

“Well I think you are cool,” Twilight says.

“Yeah, like thanks,” Stephanie says. “Not feeling too cool right now.”

Stephanie pauses for another long moment and avoids eye contact.

Twilight grabs her wrist. “I know that look. Spit it out. Something happen? Tell me.”

“Well we went to this place, John Bestos that rich guy’s place, and we are headed there next,” Stephanie says, with long pauses in her words.

“Something happen there?” Twilight says. “God I am going to get into my mom’s ass-kicking mode if you tell me something happened.”

“Yeah kinda,” Stephanie says. “There is a lot of rich people there holding some sort of meeting. Really important stuff they all want to keep secret. They had work for the Adventure Society so me and Mom went, and that is when we called you two to back us up.”

Twilight nods. “And what happened?”

“One of the rich guys there kinda got on my mom’s back,” Stephanie says. “Called her a, you know, a dumb bitch and to smarten up. More swear words than that though. Other rich people there kinda laughed at her. She took it hard. Spent the next week on her phone on social media. I guess maybe she started listening to the wrong people.”

“Oh jeeze,” Twilight says. “You talk to her about that?”

“She went into bitch mode and never got out,” Stephanie says. “I tried, but she wants to be seen as smart to these rich people there. You know, these people are billionaires and run the world, so there is like, you know, a lot of work that could come our way. I don’t want to go back to delivering for Taco Burger again.”

“You can shack up with us if you want. If all else fails. Plus you are a cutie.” Twilight sighs. “Do you know who said that to your mom?”

“Just one of the biggest assholes you could ever imagine,” Stephanie sighs and rolls her eyes. “God how are we ever going to get through this day? Mom doesn’t know we did not take clothes. God! I so wanted to hang with Laura and her crew! I could be so cute with them! You too! And I bet we could get laid too!”

“We will manage,” Twilight sighs. “Maybe not getting laid but getting through this mess. My mom is cool.”

“Yeah!” Stephanie says. “Does she care if you are naked?”

Twilight shakes her head. “She is cool with it. We do naked namaste together back home. Since I was, uh I guess assigned to her, as like, my step-mom, she has been very cool to me. Teaching me the ropes.”

“She ties you up wow! Do you get you know touched? Punished?”

“Yeah right!” Twilight laughs. “I will talk to my mom about what happened to yours. Maybe we can see if we can’t get her back from the bitch abyss.”
