0049 Naked Adventure

Jan 05, 2021

“What the hell?” Midnight says. “That is the President’s limo.”

“Where the hell are we going to find enough carbon credits to offset this mess?” Sarah says. “Look at this! The environment is going to be pissed!”

“Laura and friends probably had something to do with this,” Twilight says.

“Oh my god!” Stephanie says. “Are they like killers now? What the hell? We are in danger!”

“Laura you are going to pay for burning down the world’s rainforests,” Sarah says. “I can already feel the oxygen levels in the atmosphere decreasing!”

“That is the smoke, Sarah,” Midnight says.

Sarah blinks. “It is Laura and her extended family trying to kill everyone else in the world by ending life as we know it! They are so selfish! Oxygen for me but not for thee!”

Midnight peers into the fire. “I don’t think anyone is in there. I don’t feel the aura of death here. Someone dragged the driver out and left him over there. Twilight go check on him.”

“On it Mom!” she says.

“Are you sure?” Sarah speaks into her phone. “Well look outside again! Make sure because I sure the hell am sure!”

“Who are you on the phone with Mom?” Stephanie says.

“The hotel,” Sarah says before leaning back into her phone. “Yes! No those are not just waves on the beach! That is the sea level rising! If I were you, I would evacuate everyone now! But before you do that, could you take the stuff from our rooms and move it to higher ground?

Yes, take our stuff before you trip the alarm sirens! Do you think I want our stuff stuck in the tsunami with all those people fleeing for their lives? Amazing. Where is your sense of customer service?”

Sarah hangs up and turns to Midnight.

Far in the distance the tsunami sirens sound.

Stephanie looks up. “Oh my God! Air attack! Laura is back in her plane and blowing up cars! Get to cover!”

Midnight keeps her eyes on Sarah and blinks.

“Can you believe that?” Sarah shakes her head. “They tripped the sirens anyways! Ugh, the worst people in the world are service employees I swear. Always putting their lives ahead of my YelloRate travel reviews!”
