1048 Naked Adventure

The gunshot echoes through the valley.

Takkato drops.

“Never hurt the rainforest again!” Sarah screams.

“Jesus fucking Christ Sarah!” Adventure Jim shouts. “Holy fuck what did you do?”

“Protecting the rainforest!”

Jim seethes. “Did it ever fucking occur to you that fucking paratroopers are dropping over there, and you just fucking shot our liaison on this fucking shitshow of a mission! They are going to be all over us like shit on a sandwich! You just fucking killed us both and it is fucking D-Day!”

“You know the old adage of the jungle, Jim!” Sarah says. “An eye for an eye, a man for a tree.”

Jim looks around. “Where the fuck did you hear that?”

“It was a meme!” Sarah says. “Those are always true! Whatever we read or see online and in the news is always completely true!”

“God fucking damnit I am taking your phone away from you.”

“My phone and social media,” Sarah stares, “is a human right! Take away my phone and I will drop you like a tree!”

“What about the millions of people those companies already banned from online platforms? What happened to their human rights?”

“Listen Jim,” Sarah says, “we have the absolute right to ban people from our religion. And destroy the people that don’t like it.”
