Stranger in a strange land, the time traveler took shelter in the Oasis Temple, only to find herself in mortal danger. She saw the mummies’ cold eyes bent on murder, and knew that she was cornered. Her heart was trapped in her chest, and beat like a bird thrashing against its cage.
Then the unthinkable happened! He, moved like lightning, the hero moved like a king, but had the head and face of a jackal? With her mouth agape all she could do was watch what happened next.
