Pushed to the Limit (Lorna, Luna, Diego)

Lorna saw the gunman get hit by the phone. He was distracted, off balance. She ran.

He may turn to shoot her, but she ran straight at him.

She sees Luna's head rise over the edge, but she was already running. Luna sees her, and Luna springs forward.

Lorna got to him first, and shoved the evil man over the edge. Luna still was very fast, about a half-step behind Lorna, and Luna grabs the gun as the man falls.

Diego disappears over the edge.

"Good riddance," Luna says with a sneer. "Garbage."

Lorna stares at her hands, and sees her fingers shaking. For the first time in her life she defended herself. She defended her family. There were no hired guns around to do her dirty work for her, setup the photograph, and she walks in and takes the credit.

This, she had done, herself.

Luna's rage fades, she smiles, and she turns to her rich step-sister. "I am impressed. Not bad."

Lorna returns the smile, still shaking, and nods at her step-sister.

"Mom!" Lana says from down the cliff. "That bird has the phone!"
