Mia's birthday has arrived with minimal fanfare despite her growing popularity on campus and online. Yes, her parents called, and her internet fans posted the same messages, but Lisa seems to be stuck at work and Mia hasn't heard from her new magical friends Hannah Deangelo or Sabrina Rodriguez. At least, that's how it seemed to be until Mia got back from her classes and found a small present waiting for her, a present that blasted her with a flash of light and knocked her on her butt.
