Tatiana: Rendezvous

"... the second memory also had to do with looking into her eyes, but from an entirely different perspective... they were pulling me towards her, and the warmth I had seen in them earlier had turned to blistering heat and hunger. It was a look that said she wanted everything, and would give everything. It was the kind of look I could lose myself in, and I did...

And now, with my head still buzzing, I realized I'd managed to lose her, too. I looked at the clock on the night table; I had barely enough time to get dressed and make it to the airport for my flight home. I got back to my room and started to pack, but then I kept thinking about that look in her eyes... and how I wanted to lose myself in it again... It was crazy; how would I even find her? I had a few ideas that were probably all going to lead nowhere, but I kept seeing those eyes and feeling them pull me in... I stared at my suitcase for a long minute and then glanced at the clock again...

I picked up the phone, dialed the airline, and cancelled my flight."
