Tia‘s tale - intro / chapter 1

Tia is a talented and promising student who studied piano at university in her native Sūryastan. Her parents, he a professor of comparative literature, she a professor of biochemistry, came to the negative attention of the regime because they publicly and internationally held opinions that did not fit the regime's agenda. In a nighttime operation, they were arrested as they left a party.
