Post about your user experience and suggestions for site improvements here

I have a suggestion. Though it's not important nor essential, I think it's useful. It's about a place where you can see all recent comments, if not all comments posted. The 'most discussed' category sets on top what is most discussed, while an added 'recent comments' category concerns solely on the newest posted comments, all comments, disregarding whether a work has the most comments, hence 'most discussed' or not. This way interested readers would have the opportunity to see where to which work a comment just has been posted. In the current system only the artist of the commented work is notified there was a comment, which the general audience is unaware of. Meaning a comment like this is now limited regarding visibility.

I will put this up for discussion with the team.

Thanks

Searching is not working as intended for artists and posts. If you apply filters like "media type", "available for work", "filter content", "categories" you don't know what you get in the end. the browser url only shows the last applied filter and it is doing strange stuff, but not sorting and filtering as it should do.

There needs to be urls that show all filters that are applied. All filters should work as they should. And "Featured" should not be a "sort by" flag because its a binary value, sorting by stuff that is true or false makes no sense. it should move to filter content for example. so that you can filter posts for example by sorting "most likes" and apply a filter that only shows "featured" images.

Thank you for your observation and suggestions. This has been transmitted to the team.

I been on the site for about a week, I will say there are many things I like about the site. I like how easy it is to see an overview of your stats and others, and how easy it is to see those stats on your images. It has really help me gauge what people like and don't like and gives me an idea on what to make next.

The overall layout is good with the exception of a few things. For example how when you are on the home page or any category page I wish the images were spaced out a bit more and bit smaller and not so smushed up against each other. It makes my eyes hurt after a while. The pop-up box of search terms gets a bit annoying to when I am trying to select an option from the menu

I do like the badges that is a really cool feature and inspired me to put my first badge on my last image that made me happy.

I like the discord channel gives me a chance to meet and chat about the shop with other members that is a huge plus for me.

Maybe some more category options, perhaps one like disturbing or something like that will let people know that the images maybe upsetting to people. That way they can have a filter to tune that out.

Again over all I like the site and have enjoyed my time here so far. Keep up the good work Slushe team

Oh one more thing I really like.... The contest and how the community is involved and picking them :D

Your suggestion for more category options can be controlled via the Categories tab of your Profile:

To view such content, start by going to Edit your Profile settings, and then under the Categories tab select the desired category under the Requires Opt-In column. The content will now be viewable while you're logged in.

Please note depending on the artist or uploader of a given image, if they have not utilized the proper categories; you may not see every instance of the desired categories.

The opposite can be performed for the default selected categories if you so wish.

Thanks Pandan, I did find those settings. But one question arises when I am posting images. If I select multiple categories my image will show up in all those categories correct? I try to limit my categories to only a few but sometimes I find that my image may fit more then one category, so if another user selects to see only type A images and not B Images, and I select both option A and B they will still see it correct? If so I can see some members maybe upset or think filters don't work if images they don't want to see get through.

Indeed that is good practice/judgment to follow in how you categorize your uploads; preferably accurately and responsibly.

If users are not utilizing category/tags properly or happen to be patently incorrect, you have a Flag/Report function on each post/image page to notify the admin team.

In the Report menu, there are several options to choose from based on the site rules and message box for you to explain your reasonings that will be sent out to the admins.

The community is usually quick to jump and point out such occurrences.

Thanks again Pandan for further clarification, Again I try to post my images in the right category, I like to explore different genre of images. If I ever post something incorrectly just notify me and I be happy to make correction :D

Would it be possible to add a 'Giantess' category to the categories?

Several more artists from the size community have shown up here and I think the addition would help grow the site to make it more inclusive.

The site has been running very slowly lately, so I hope you can do something about it

I will put this to the team.  At this point there are not enough posts to warrant an extra category. but that is not to say we will not add one in the near or distant future.

In the mean time, ensure all your posts are tagged to reflect giantess

the site is taking a lot of time to load and when it does fully load the images are not displayed

Might be something or it might nothing on the slow down people are experience. Gallery Mode seems to be a lot slower than Blog Mode. I did an experiment where I switched between the two mode and did notice a slowdown with Gallery Mode.

Is there a way to turn off the Auto-Menu Function of the Categories Menu? The menu automatically opens up every time my mouse moves over it.

I'll mention it in my next meeting.

No there isn't a way to turn off auto menu, sorry

Hi guys, not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I have a quick suggestion about viewing filtered posts when you've opted out of a particular category.

The Contest posts are the prime example of what I'm talking about. If I go to view the "Gamer Contest 2020" posts for instance, I get the notification that the post has been hidden and can't be viewed because I've opted-out of the "Dickgirl/Futanari" category, even though there may not be any "Dickgirl/Futanari" content in the post. So to view the contest information, I have to go into my profile, opt-into the "Dickgirls/Futanari" category, save my preferences, go back to the home page, and then view the post again. And if I go back and reset my preferences and want to view a post about a contest or such at a later date, I have to repeat the process again.

My suggestion would be a simple "View Post Anyway?" button to bypass the filter on a once-off, so I can view the post without having to redo my personal preferences each time.

That's a reasonable suggestion,  I'll put it to the team
