The mercenary witch covens of the city-state of Etraea are well-respected, but not well-liked. Most in the territory view the witches as a necessary evil in order to fulfill their old oaths to their suzerain, the Valdras Empire. The mage kings of old mandate military service for all vassal states under their protection.

And despite the middling power of the leylines in the territory, Etraea sometimes produces witches of some talent. Nikki, Sara, and Leah are recent graduates of the War College, having finished their education in how to integrate their powers into Etraean and Valdrastic military doctrine. They will soon join one of the city-state's great Free Companies.


I like witches, I like uniforms, I like anti-materiel rifles. Leah definitely is not using Thunder Breathing from Demon Slayer. Motherland: Fort Salem? Never heard of it.
