Cutoffs
The fluffy threads typical to cutoffs have proven somewhat complicated to get a handle on with Daz, as you can see. Various limitations stemming from the transfer utility make it a bit of a challenge. I could of course use a fiber mesh but that runs the vertex count up dramatically while presenting some issues between the legs. However, I'm getting closer with the judicious use of textures to having something pretty good. This isn't bad, imho. It stands up VERY well from a few feet away, say a 3/4 body shot or even half body shot distance. I wanted to see what adjustments will be necessary to make it convincing in a close shot like this, and it seems to me this is on the right track.
This is the Aviatrix project again, of course. It'll be available in my store fairly soon, I'm hoping. There are several more items to be built, including a fairly large airplane! But it's getting there.
