The invading horde army swiftly overtook the lands. Attacking villages and burning everything in sight, leaving behind a trail of dead that would rise again as new horde minions. But not all who were conquered were turned. A select few were taken prisoner and marched along with the army, stripped bare and in chains.

 For the horde were not all mindless abominations. The leaders of the horde were living men, trained in the dark arts of necromancy and conjuration, who still desired companionship and conversation to keep their sanity.
