The Rock Troll roared, then howled in pain. As the huntsman's assault continued, the troll yelped and started to bolt for the trees. His yelps of pain could be heard fading off into the distance as the huntsman turned his gaze to the lithe elven nymph laying naked before him.

The human warrior appraised her, his eyes lingering over her as Krystal leaned up on her elbows. She looked at her rescuer with undisguised skepticism. Something about this whole encounter seemed just too. . .trite. Was it a set-up?
