Lara arrived at the desert ruins and began her search.  Many adventurers before her tried and failed to find the artifact known as the Desert Flower.  She’d studied their efforts and found an area that they did not try.  She toured the ruins with her guns out, scanning for threats.  All those adventurers failed to return.  It took her a few minutes to find what she was looking for and find the person who found it first.  Mave was standing among the ruins with the Desert Flower in his hands.  “Hi Lara.” He said to her as she holstered her pistols.  “How?” was the only way she could put it.  Lara had always gotten to the artifacts first.  “It helps to travel here during the night.  I got here around midnight.”  “That’s dangerous.  All the previous explorers died trying to find this thing.”  Mave’s only response was to smile back at Lara.  “Besides, Casey would never forgive us if you died.”  Mave’s gaze left her and moved to the ground.  More accurately, it moved from her chest to the ground.  Lara knew that her see-thru shirt would come in handy.  Lara moved over to Mave and gently moved his head so that he was looking at her eyes.  “I know why you took such ...
