A touching moment

This is my first attempt at a "story driven" piece, I'm not too sure if people are as inclined as I am to more romantic stories rather than out and out sex, so please feel free to leave feedback in the comments whether it be about the visual style, characters, anything. Keen to learn!

The setting:

After world leaders fail to contain a virus outbreak, cities are torn down and people are left to scavenge for what they can for survival on planet 021B. The two protagonists are a lesbian couple, who are space marine trained and are more than equipped with the knowledge and strength to overcome many adversities. In this scene, they are huddled in a small bunker they found and Kaura (Girl with the long sleeve) was a tactial advisor in the galactic army. She is attempting to apply her knowledge to get them out of the city they were situated in before civilisation collapsed. Ellen is Kaura's partner, and is trying to keep morale up while they go through a small dip in motivation, sharing an intimate moment.
