Make Them Stop

There's a lot going on in this picture. Luka is a teenager who has schizophrenia which is usually controlled with medication. However, psych meds have a tendency to stop working properly until about age 25 due to changes in the brain. She's never really been a voice hearer, she normally has an overwhelming delusion that fairies are trying to steal her again, but her reaction to the delusions don't make for good pictures.

Luka is a character in my River City Magic series and is the main character of the novella The Stolen Girl.
