NEW SITE FEATURES UP UNTIL JANUARY 18TH

IMAGE SLIDESHOW FOR GALLERY POSTS

We’ve added an image slideshow feature to make viewing multi-image gallery posts more enjoyable. Simply open a gallery post with multiple images and click on any of the images to view the slideshow. (See example above.) The image slideshow has been a highly requested feature, so we’re glad we're finally able to introduce it to the site. We hope you enjoy using it! :D

You can view the images in the slideshow by:

• Letting the slideshow loop through the images automatically. Every 8 seconds a new image will display.

• Skipping through the image slides by clicking the arrows on either side of the screen.  
  
  

In the top right corner you have these icons at your disposal:

• Zoom icon - click to zoom in on an image.

• Pause / Play icon - click to start or pause the slideshow.

• Thumbnails icon - click to remove or display the thumbnails of the images in the slideshow. 

• X icon - click to close the slideshow.

The image slideshow is mainly intended for multi-image gallery posts, but you can also use it to zoom in on a single image. The slideshow can be used on computers and mobile devices.

AGE VERIFICATION SCREEN

We’ve added an Age Verification screen to the site, so anyone who visits Slushe for the first time must verify whether they are old enough to view sexually explicit content. If you encounter this screen, simply click Enter and Slushe will remember your selection so it won’t ask you to verify your age next time you visit the site. 

IMGUR ACCEPTED IMAGE SOURCE

We’ve added Imgur as an accepted image source, so it is now possible to insert images uploaded to imgur.com into your gallery posts. Click the Insert Image icon in the Description editor of your post to insert the URL and click Confirm. Please note that Insert Image only accepts links to image files. Links to gifs are not accepted.

PROFILE STATS

We’ve revamped the look user profile Stats. See example above.

Uploads - total amount of posts you’ve submitted to Slushe.com.

Followers - total amount of Slushe users who follow you.

Views - total amount of views you’ve received on all of your posts combined.

Likes - total amount of likes you’ve received on all of your posts combined.

Favorites - total amount of favorites you’ve received on all of your posts combined.

Comments - total amount of comments you’ve received on all of your posts combined.

GENERAL SITE FIXES

• Previously following or unfollowing another user could be undone by clicking the browser back button. Now Slushe remembers your choice even if you click the browser back button.

• If you reply to someone else’s comment on a post, the Comments box should now move down with your selection so you can see to whom you’re writing.

• We’ve made some changes to the font style used in the forum threads to make posts easier to read.

• We’ve added an Edit option for forum polls.

• We’ve updated the Lists editor with a guideline for thumbnail image size limits (512kb in GIF, JPG or PNG format).
